The Poldhu - Sue Giles nomination

After a hectic summer with activities galore at The Poldhu, Sue Giles work has been praised by her colleagues. Staff, families and residents have nominated Sue for The Caring Times ‘Care Activities Coordinator of the Year’. Judging is in the late autumn and all will be keeping their fingers crossed hoping that, perhaps, Sue’s efforts may catch the eye of the judges. In her usual fashion, Sue suggested that she can only perform her role in the way she does because of the unstinting support of colleagues and friends. Whilst this is true, the driving force is her care and enthusiasm. As visitors to The Poldhu will know, her voice and laughter can always be heard as she fills our residents’ days with fun, stimulation and fulfilment.
