In the heart of the popular village of Breage, a village of approximately 2,000 residents, 3 miles from Helston on the A394 (which leads to Penzance, some 10 miles to the west). The village has many amenities including Public House, thriving Church, village hall, playing fields and Social Club.
Breage House is formed of two units, providing outstanding living environments for 7 residents in one, 8 in the second and a permanently dedicated Respite Bed. The home has been totally renovated to provide outstanding care facilities within two period buildings. Bedrooms have large ensuite Wetrooms, each home has a passenger lift and day space is within numerous lounges providing more than twice the ‘required’ space per resident. Breage House has a multi-sensory room for our Residents.
Care Packages
High Dependency Long Term Care
Our team of dedicated, experienced care professionals (including an RNLD) provide long term residential care for adults (18-65yrs) with physical and learning disabilities.
Fees are assessed after detailed discussions with Social Workers, relatives and friends and Swallowcourt Group’s experienced Managers.
Respite Care
We have a permanently dedicated Respite Bedroom, with access to all the facilities provided elsewhere within Breage House. Activities
Our dedicated staff includes a Manager with responsibility to ensure that, whatever an individual’s ability, wide ranging social and leisure activities are always available. Many of these are to develop ‘life-skills’, such as working within our wheelchair accessible kitchen. Activities at Breage House include clubs, wildlife studies, music, drama, clubs and community based events. Residents are encouraged to share interests and hobbies where appropriate as well as developing independence in their personal skills.
