Situated in the hamlet of Gulval, approximately 2 miles from the centre of Penzance, The Coach House opened in April 2005, to provide residential accommodation for adults with a learning disability.
Set within stunning walled gardens, The Coach House was once part of Trevaylor Manor, previously in the ownership of the Bishop of Exeter. Now a listed building the home has been totally renovated to provide 8 beautifully refurbished bedrooms all of which are en-suite. Other facilities include a passenger lift, wet room and bathroom, comfortable lounge and spacious conservatory.
High Dependency Long Term Care
Our team of dedicated, caring professionals provide long term, permanent residential care for adults under the age of 65 with physical and learning disabilities, in a secure and caring environment.
Fees are set after discussions with social workers, parents and Swallowcourt Home Managers.
Our dedicated staff will ensure that, dependent on ability, there will be a suitable range of social and leisure activities for all residents at The Coach House. These activities will include attending outside clubs, community based events and outside trips. Residents are encouraged to share interests and hobbies where appropriate, as well as developing independence in personal skills.
