He and his team work hard to provide nutritious food and a varied menu, sourced from local ingredients wherever possible. All meals are freshly prepared and cooked with a choice of courses.
Our aim is to look after you and your individual care needs to ensure you receive the very best care possible. Care is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and we work with you to develop a comprehensive care plan based on your needs, which is assessed with you on an ongoing basis.
The Poldhu provides a day care service at the home. The home opens their doors to a maximum of 6 people each day for a small fee, providing them with lunch and activities. Other services such as a bath, shower or hair cut can be provided at an additional cost. If you are interested in this service then please contact the home for further details.

We always felt confident about discussing with the staff, matters relating to Mum’s care and as well as considering important issues relating to her health, there was always plenty of humor and good feeling which I know Mum was able to share.
The service was caring. Staff were kind and compassionate and treated people with dignity and respect. People were able to make choices about their daily living and how they spent their time. People’s privacy was respected. The service was responsive. People received personalised care and support that was responsive to their changing needs. People were able to take part in a range of activities facilitated by two activity co-ordinators. Complaints were dealt with in a timely manner
